Sighing loudly, the Secondary made himself comfortable sitting on the sidewalk with a bored expression. Slushie in hand, and the usual casual attire in place. But Destin was once again an hour late for heading into the cafe to start cleaning for the next open season. With a loud curse, he stood and glanced around to the other's around their yards. All eyes on him, but he didn't care too much. Needless to say he was quite annoyed with the opposite Secondary.

After an hour of hearing his alarm clock ring fire alarm style, he just smashed his fist to the sleep button and jerked into a sit. He was late. Extremely late. And with a loud inward cuss, the Secondary was up and rum rummaging his closet for his fitted CSC shirt, then tugging on his black skinnies that had a light thin, rainbow plaid pattern. Shoes in place, hair fixed, teethbrushed, and Destin was scurrying down the sidewalk to the opposite color. Finally coming to stand beside him with an out of breath pant, "I'm here! I'm here!"

"My god, it's about time, Destin!" Gaz jerked into a stand and stared at the taller male irritably, "You're late. By. A. Damn. Hour. Do you know how pissed off Azure is going to be if she figures out we didn't finish the job like we were suppose to?! We're practically redoing and restarting the cafe for the season. And you. Were. Late. LATE, DESTIN! We're going to have to work double time to get anything done. And I do stretch this. Anything. Not to mention how you have an actual job and I have a family to take care of, so this need be done by atleast five. We have like... three hours to get shit started!"

"My bad! I didn't know that it was my fault that the ALARM didn't go off!" he listened on to the other male and just stared at Pink's fence with a dead gaze. Not good to go berserk on your best friend, the fence? Didn't really matter. After a moment of steaming, he looked back to his fellow Secondary, "Look. We'll get it done. We've gotten in done in shorter spans than this. Hell, when we were little, we did it every January. This is really no different." he offered a shrug and turned toward the east where the cafe was just a block down. "But if you want to rant about it, go ahead." he held his hands up defensively and turned back toward the purple haired male.

"Destin, you need to get your head out of the clouds and shorten that kite string, you're an adult. Maybe you should act like one, instead of some rebellious teenager! Fuck, we're going to have double the work so why're we just standing here bitching?!" he started walking to the east with a dim green gaze, but instead of watching his path, he stared at his boots and ended up colliding with Melissa, "My bad, Mrs. Elkridge." he apologized automatically and gave a polite bow.

"Ahem, Mister. There will be no apologizing. I was looking for you two... dashing... young lads to begin with." the elder smiled, glancing down to her wagging Pomeranian at her feet, his black leash and collar standing nicely to his snow colored fur. "I'm about tired of you two arguing like lovers and over doing it. Especially you Gaz, poor Zag is nearly to the point of murdering you in your sleep. Onward yet, this bickering is quite annoying, and I will NOT tolerate it any longer. You boys act like one of you has it worse off, but your really equally the same. All colors are. No one has the perfect life. We face pain, hurt, love, revenge, anger, war, and even more so lust everyday. While you think it lives in your home, it lives within the spectrum. From reds to greyscales, it's all the same." she narrowed her vibrant ocean eyes. "So to make you see it's no different from being Purple, to being Orange, you're going to trade places. Completely. You still feel that the other has it worse or better after a week, we'll do some DNA splicing to fix it." And with that, Melissa removed both of the younger generations color, making their masses as colorless as her's before replacing their colors with that of the opposite. "Now Gaz can be orange, and Destin can be purple. You'll find my work is pretty spot on. As for the personality and voice and such, that's all on your end to fix. And do nothing to ruin the opposite. Dest, don't hit the twins, Gaz don't attempt to quit Dest's job and everything will be swimmingly. Are we clear on this, Secondaries? And I mean crystal clear?!" she gleered darkly, her pup snarling up in response to her heavier tone.

When his color was restored, he stared with terrified eyes to the tone that faintly illuminated his skin. It was... not his?It was the glow that Gaz had, not the fiery orange his own had. Even his hair was a different color, not to mention his crimson eyes were now a nice shade of emerald. Live in Gaz's house? Oh hell no. The twins were one thing, but living with KIRO for a week? Hogwash. There was no way he'd do something like that. He panicked, looking down to see that he was clad in Gaz's styled clothing. "Fucking hell, a week?! This is crazy!"

Gaz nodded politely, "Yes, ma'am." of course that was before he realized the real effect of their traded shadings. No more did he have the shorter height, instead he was looking down atleast three inches. "You were really serious, weren't you Melly?" he was starstruck, because not only did their color's splice, but their bodies alter to the other's form. With a cuss at Orange's terrible fashion, he simply started his trudge down the sidewalk. "I can't even believe this. Trading bodies is a work of the devil, I swear!" the former purple secondary stormed along the sidewalk with a heavy crimson gaze.

"You take it easy, boys. Oh, and you might want to explain to the husband, Destin." she smirked and returned to her light footed walk down the opposite way. Kurochi, her dog, yipping happily at a few colors that were lingering around the avenue before turning and slinking into the Obsidian's house to find Azure and Red. The Pomeranian skipping along behind her.

"This is fucking great. Gaz, you're a smart guy..." he took a bit of a run to catch up to the other male, "I'm sure you could fix this.. right? Oh please tell me you can atleast return our appearances. I could deal with the eyes, tongue, and hair... but the innocent femme is annoying, no offense." he sighed and glanced to the other's height, "And I don't like being the one looking up." Destin sighed, and then caught onto Colorless' words, "Oh god. Please tell me it's not fuck night or something..."

"Don't feel bad, the closet homosexual doesn't work for me either. No offense, Dest." he smirked to himself before stealing his keys from the other Secondary's pocket and unlocking the cafe before stepping inside. "But I'm sure there's some way to fix it, there's always a way to fix it. And as many times as I've seen Melissa splice Zag's DNA or take blood, I'd rather play along with the entire thing. But as for appearances, yeah. I'll fix that. You're a color, as am I, so our appearances are a mental theory, they're not genetic. I mean, look at.. Zag! His appearance never changes because it's how he prefers it. I mean, come on. Stitches aren't normal. And me. I can willingly alter hair color, eye color, and the color of my tongue without issue. Shapeshifter genes ain't got no part in working an appearance. It changes body, not mind." the now taller male waited until the other was in before locking the door and sticking the "TIME UNTIL OPENING" tag on the door.

Sighing, the shorter stepped inside and then looked to the nametags on the counter, they were those dry erase ones... but whose name would go on which? "Eh, you don't think you could do that voodoo magic now, huh? Because... there may be some conflict in tagging otherwise." the Secondary sat on the barstool idly with a blank expression.

"Yeah, I see what you're getting at." he stared at the tags with a dull crimson gaze. "Just concentrate, man. That's how I shapeshift, I imagine that's how you alter appearance." he did as he mentioned, dropping his height and regaining his lanky build and features. With a smile he rubbed his fingertips to his bridge piercing with a smile. "Thank goodness, I felt weird without'em." he hummed and glanced into the mirror. "I can work with the hair and red eyes.. even the normal tongue. This shouldn't be too hard." he smiled widely, rubbing a fingertip to his canine teeth, "Not too sharp, well I'm in order."

After hearing the now shorter male out, he concentrated until he felt everything was back in order before slipping to stand beside Gaz and stare into the mirror. "Yeah, we look right. Purple isn't my color, but we can work with this I think. Also, I'd like to ask again. What the hell was Mel talking about?!"

"Ya' know. I'm not sure. Maybe not to get too into the sex." he cackled, practically doubling over with childish laughter before slowly regaining his position. "I don't know.. Maybe to warn him that you're Destin and I'm Gaz. It'd be weird if you got yourself seduced by your enemy and to think you guys' used to be like we are.~ Best friends and such. Shame, shame." the fiery color wandered into the lounge and began unpacking the new glasses and plates before looking to where the other Secondary then stood. "Ya' know. I don't think this'll be all too bad. Just don't wreck my style, and I won't hook you up with anyone weird. We gotta deal?"
