Looking for a personality. Kiro can be as bright and shiny as the sun or as dark and dismal as a rainy day. It all depends on who he's with or where he is. Most times though, he has a bright smile and a cheery voice tone. However, there are only two colors that can bring out his truly hateful side.

Most of the time now a days, Kiro can be found in acid washed jeans and some type of t-shirt due to his modeling career. Though now his style is just casual in general.

Zey say zat Yellow is a bright color. Meant to brighten and improve ze lives of everyone. Yellow is light, Yellow is ze sun. Yellow, known to everyone is very bright, 'owever, zey do not know me...

Cheerful sunny yellow is an attention getter. While it is considered an optimistic color, people lose their tempers more often in yellow rooms, and babies will cry more. It is the most difficult color for the eye to take in, so it can be overpowering if overused. Yellow enhances concentration, hence its use for legal pads. It also speeds metabolism.
The shade of yellow determines the meaning. Pure, bright and sunny yellow is the easiest color to see. People who are blind to other colors can usually see yellow. Yellow is full of
creative and intellectual energy. Always use yellow notepads.
Yellow symbolizes wisdom. Yellow means joy and happiness. People of high intellect favor yellow. Yellow daffodils are a symbol of unrequited love. Sunday's color is yellow-gold.

Being the Color that he was, he wasn't exactly born, he, along with his sister Blue, and step brother Red simply appeared. They were the beginning three. The primaries. Out of them came Purple, Green, and Orange. Out of the younger generation colors, Purple seemed to always be his favorite. The two grew close. Some liked it, others hated it. The pair seemed to have everything they wanted in each. Love, comfort, happiness. That all changed however, when the Humans came and split them all apart.
Childhood for Yellow was one of interest. Filled with ups and downs. Laughs and Tears. Happiness and Sadness. He was a very outgoing boy, always seen with a smile on his face. Everywhere we went, he would be described as a ray of light. Terms were good and bad, but the boy chose to ignore them blissfully and continue on with his life, though his smile would sometimes mask the pain he felt. Usually he would be found with his older sister, Blue or, Azure, as she was more commonly known. He tended to shy away from Red however. A horrible fight between the two had left the younger Color scared to this day.
As he grew older, more colors began to appear. First came Purple, then Orange, and finally Green. Yellow struck an almost immediate friendship with Gaz [Purple]. The two could usually be found together, playing near the lake by Azure's house, or at the Trolley with Indigo. That Trolley was like a haven to the trio and often they would go there to play, plan out games, or to relax.
Yellow's friendship with Purple only grew stronger as they got older. The hugs, the light touches, the kisses, all led up to a fateful night at the lake. It ended with a kiss far more important to the boys than they thought possible. Then of course, there was Green, and his twin Teal. They questioned the boys and caused trouble for them at every chance they got. They hated the combination of light and dark, seeming to think that people like them shouldn't mix.
And of course there was Orange. Needless to say, Kiro hated Destin. He started of fairly neutral on his end wit the boy, but as time went on he saw that there seemed to be an underlying sense of dislike from Orange. It got to him and he didn't like it. The way Orange looked at them when he and Purple were together made him seethe inside. His dislike grew to hatred and one day that hatred almost led to a fight but he kept himself in line. After the Split, after his memories returned, his hatred returned as well and still lasts even now.
Kiro [Yellow] grew up hating the lot of them. Hating the lies and trouble Green and Teal caused and just hating the fiery Orange shade no matter the case. The only thing that appeared to have kept him from snapping was Purple. The dark color meant more to him than anything. He thought that nothing could ever break them apart. That was shattered, however, when the Humans came and split them all apart. The Colors were scattered and sent all over the globe, facing their
respective hardships and lives.
From that day when they were split, Yellow's spirit began to dwindle. Though he kept a smile, it was one filled with sadness, false cheer, and contempt. Contempt at humanity for what it had done. He grew older. His color became associated with many things. Sunshine, sunflowers, Happiness, Light. He continued to spiral downward, despite what his color represented. His memories faded, though not completely. Touching certain things seemed to trigger flashes of memory. He wandered into a park. There, is where he met his long lost sister and love. Years of separation had the three at lost for memory, but a quick friendship was established. Glances, touches. They triggered memories. Slowly, slowly their memories returned. The flashes slowly ran together, creating a chain of memories.
At one point of the night, something special happened between Gaz and Kiro that triggered the full memories of them both. Their childhood, up until they were split up. The good things, their meetings, their playing, that night..and of course the bad, Green and Teal, Orange, being split. However, as the two shared their moment, reconnecting, Yellow asked to be with him. Be his true complement. When Purple said yes, was the moment Yellow's spirits returned to their full brightness.
It was like nothing had changed, except of course age. Kiro and Gaz were happy. Life was perfect. And even better, more Colors were showing up. Kiro had gotten a job at his sister's business. The ever wonderful Color Scheme Café.
Life went on and eventually came that day when Kiro had finally worked up the courage to ask Gaz that fateful question. He asked if Gaz would marry him and hearing yes, made Kiro's heart beat faster than anyone would have thought possible. The months leading up to the wedding were serene and when that night came, it was just glorious. The rave setting was perfect for them both.
In the months following their marriage, things were just as perfect as ever. The pair even had children. A pair of twins aptly named Kaz and Giro. Kaz didn't really seem to like him all that much, but it didn't bother him and Giro was always so shy. Life was still amazing. It was swell, up until the point when the drama started. A child came forth through a one night stand with Black and Purple. Midnight Purple. Kiro hated the child and for a time even hated Black. To this day he still feels enmity for them both. Knowledge of that caused a rift in their perfect little world and eventually Kiro even went off for months. It came to be known he was checked into a mental institution.
When he returned, he saw things had some what changed. The biggest change was the presence of two new beings. They were demented in appearance. though they resembled Gaz and Kiro. The Frenchman had no knowledge of who the Heliotrope shade was, but the Olive shade. He'd seen him before. It took him a few minutes but he remembered. Orik had come to the Avenue and he'd made himself comfortable with Zag, Gaz's Distort. That's right. They'd called themselves the Distorted shades. An appropriate title.
Life after that was rather strained, but the pair made it. Despite what happened, Kiro and Gaz still stayed together. They proved their love to each other time and time again. Slowly, very slowly, their trust and love grew stronger. Even the Distorted shades helped, in their own odd little way.
So now the pair are living, for the most part, contently in their home on the Ave. with their children, cat Stormy, and pair of dogs, Snips and Tavvy.

The Split [Kiro's POV]: That time when the colors were split, Kiro seemed to have lost all semblance of his color. His personality had grown dark and withdrawn, his hair went from blond to jet black, and his eyes went from brilliant yellow to a dull, almost black grey. He had to find places of his own since he couldn't return to the Ave.
The sixteen year old Kitsune was slowly spiraling without the comfort of his fellow colors and most importantly, the one he'd grown closest to. He'd resorted to theft, drinking, smoking, even the occasional drug. Things he'd have never done on the Ave.
Months passed. Kiro only seemed to get worse. He'd grown paler, skinnier. His mindset seemed demented. His habits only seemed to get worse and one night, the French color drank himself to unconsciousness. He had no idea how long he'd been laying there. Could have been minutes, could have been hours. All he knew was, that when he awoke, mismatched blue and yellow eyes were staring down at him. This other male, just as thin and pale as he was, looked almost exactly like him. However, difference being in the fact that he look a couple years younger, his hair was a dull blond, almost olive shade, and one of the pupils in his mismatched eyes was slitted.
Kiro questioned this boy. He seemed to know a lot about Kiro. Too much in fact. He didn't get a lot out of him other than the fact this child called himself Orik. Kiro backwards. Odd. Before Kiro could think to question the boy further, he darted off. Kiro tried to follow but he was just out of it. Soon he lost sight of Orik, and didn't hear from him again.
Years passed. Kiro grew older. His memories faded. Except for one lone memory. The memory of a boy with purple hair. The name had gone but the smile on the child's face was as clear as if it were yesterday. The French color grew to the age of 18 then to the age of 22. Once he reached 22 something seemed to beckon to him. It just screamed "Go back". But back to where? He just wandered, wondering where he was suppose to go. He could only go where he felt something was calling. Kiro walked, rode, and walked more until he came upon a place known as Greyscale Park. flashes of memories. He wandered further in. More flashes. And that's when he saw him. Them. Gaz and Azure. His childhood lover and sister.
